Mediation Training is for those who want to become a professional mediator. We also have Continuing Professional Development Courses available. The NMAS Mediator accreditation qualification is now a stepping stone to enrolling in the CHC81115 – Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution.
Conflict Management Skills
This training is for those who want to improve their conflict management skills but are not interested in becoming a professional mediator. The courses are designed to provide dispute diagnostic and resolution strategies for when you are one of the people in conflict or are assisting as a friend, co-worker or manager.
Our workshops cover a wide range of topics related to interpersonal communication and lifeskills. Our range of workshops are available as public workshops, in-house workshops (for your employees) or as the basis of a customised workshop for your group or organisation.
NMAS Mediator Accrediation Course
This course exceeds the requirements for National Mediator Accrediation Training established by the Mediators Standards Board www.msb.org.au
Students learn through online learning (theory) and practice mediations conducted through Video Mediation.
Key Benefits of the Course
You can study the course in your own time in your own home avoiding the need to attend workshops and rigid training schedules.
Unlike workshops where time management means that you won’t get any more time and practice than the course design allows with our online learning you can come along as a role player and participate in as many roles plays as you need to understand the process and develop your skills as a mediator.
Our approach is to start you off with a “run sheet” to help you to understand the process and complete it successfully and then building on that success.
